Panel Discussion: Honouring Akikpautik and Akikodjiwan

I will be part of a panel discussion with Lynn Gehl, Lindsay Lambert, and Randy Boswell. “Reconciliation: Re-Membering Creator’s First Sacred Pipe” will honour Akikpautik and Akikodjiwan. Collectively this panel will explore, discuss, and uncover how sacred Akikodjiwan continues to be subjugated by colonial power and corporate greed, despite the Liberal government’s political platform and rhetoric of “nation to nation” and “reconciliation.”

When: 27 October, from 2 to 5 pm
Where: Seniors Recreation Centre, 345 Richmond Rd., Ottawa

  1. Hello:

I would like to know if we need to registre for the writing workshop on February 11, 2014?

    Thank you

  2. Hello Albert, Speaking with you at the Human Library was the highlight of my day. I feel that I truly benefitted from our brief interaction…and I’m not the only one. Imam Jebara was quite disappointed that I hadn’t gotten your contact information and a woman I met at the United Church in Arnprior mentioned that you had inspired her also. I hope our paths cross again soon. God bless you.

Hi, so happy that you are in Iskotew this week, which I only found out today, so see you at noon, it’s been way too long! It is funny how things work in life, I was thinking of you lately and needed to reach out to you, so last week-end I decided to write to you, and since you are near, I will bring this letter in person to you, thanks for past, present and future inspiration.
